Rally for the Rink

Given the shortened skating season at Evergreen Lake and the benefits of having an ice arena in the Conifer and Evergreen area, it's time for our communities to come together and rally for the rink.

Help demonstrate community interest in an ice arena by sharing your input and registering your support.

What is Rally for the Rink?

Rally for the Rink is a volunteer group in Conifer and Evergreen to capture input, solicit support, and conduct research to develop an ice rink for our mountain communities.  Our group is working to answer the following questions:

  • How much community interest is there for an ice rink?

  • What type of rink and programming should be provided to the community?

  • What costs are involved in the development and maintenance of an ice rink?

Why Build a Rink for Mountain Communities?

Stronger Community

An ice arena provides a local hub for youth sports, adult recreation, and community events, fostering belonging, teamwork, and another positive communal space.

Improved Access

Community members gain convenient access to skating, ice sports, and winter activities that promote physical and mental health for all ages.

Community Investment

The arena would create local jobs, attract tournaments and visitors, and keep recreation dollars in the community, serving as a durable, multi-generational asset.
